TO BE A LEAD SERVICE AND BUSINESS DESIGNER?

We are looking for Lead Service and Business Designers who speak fluent business, understand the context and nature of digital business, and can create value for customers and end users by leveraging design thinking, human-centric design practises, and data-based insights to develop new service and business concepts, strategies and digital products. 

You help our customers improve digital services and design new product and service concepts in close collaboration with our customers and various stakeholders. You help our clients identify opportunities, define challenges worth solving, create competitive value propositions, and prototype new business models and concepts. In addition, your contribution may include market research, competitor and trend analyses, and business case calculations. You are confident in being part of a core solution team that comprises different experts from e.g. UX/UI design and development, AI, data, automation, and technical architecture. 

As a lead, you are responsible for driving a project’s design team towards its goals and ensuring the quality of the delivery. Taking a comprehensive approach to design comes natural to you as you have knowledge of different business domains and an end-to-end service development process. You are in charge of building and maintaining good relationships with clients and curious to look for new business opportunities by actively contributing into design-related sales, e.g. by making proposals. You share our interest in constant learning and enjoy sharing your knowledge with your fellow Siilis. 

A GOOD START TO BEGIN WITH: 

We can help you build your story the most when you have:  

• You have solid knowledge and practical experience from applying design thinking and service design methods combined with a customer-oriented thinking and a wide understanding of business development and strategy work. Your expertise covers e.g. utilizing data as part of service development, business strategies and processes, innovations, customer experience. 
• Experience of designing digital services in an agile environment. Your background from a design agency or consulting gives you a smooth start in our client projects.  
• Good leadership skills and experience in leading projects, including strong communication and interaction capabilities as well as expertise to facilitate workshops with different stakeholders. 
• Ability and interest in having an active role in supporting project sales and finding new business opportunities. 
• Experience in working with cross-functional teams including experts from e.g. UX/UI design and development, AI, data, automation, or technical architecture. 
• Fluent oral and written proficiency in Finnish and English.
