Are your hands deep in cloud architectures? 

We are looking for a hands-on Cloud Architect to join SKALER, our automation task force. In this role, you will be responsible for building and operating cloud infrastructures that are used to host intelligent automation and open-source RPA solutions. Our automation solutions deliver rapid and tangible value by solving real business problems - helping our clients to work more efficiently. This is a unique opportunity to jump directly into the very core of the open-source process automation movement!  

What are we looking for? 

As a Cloud Architect at SKALER, you will contribute to enterprise architectures from multiple viewpoints – from business to information architecture to functional end-to-end solutions. In this key role, you possess an understanding and experience of hosting modern enterprise-grade cloud platforms. You are familiar with either AWS or Azure environments, preferably both and if needed, it’s a big plus if you can code a bit of Python as well.  

Everything we do, we do it with our clients in mind. Therefore, we expect good communication skills in both Finnish and English. You should be capable of maintaining professional dialogue about technical suggestions, decisions, designs and solutions with both a technical and non-technical audience. 

This role provides room for growth, and we do not expect you’re familiar with our operations and practice, but we do value if you have skills and experience in:  

• Modern Cloud Platforms, preferably AWS and/or Azure 
• Information security and information networks 
• Software development preferably with Python 
• Identifying, understanding and specifying business requirements 
• Designing and implementing system architectures  

• Working with databases, microservices and API driven architectures 

Additionally, it’s great if modern and agile development methods are close to your heart, and you are an advocate for DevOps, Information Security and Security Operations.
