Drupal Developer

We are now looking for talented Drupalists to join our team of about 15 experienced Drupal developers, who not only make sure our clients have elegant, functional web sites, but also extra value from versatile integrations and state of the art frontends. Although our Drupal projects are mainly found in the capital area, you might be located anywhere in Finland, as remote work is possible, but we wish you are able to visit our Helsinki office every now and then.

What are we looking for?

You can be focused in either Drupal frontend or backend, or both.

The Drupalist we are looking for is able to utilize the following technologies:

  • PHP, MySQL, Git
  • HTML5, CSS
  • Drupal 8+ is a must, and Drupal 7 experience helps.
  • Experience working with local development environments based on Vagrant or Docker, is considered a plus.

As a backend developer you will use object-oriented PHP programming in your daily work, so experience with that is a must.

A Drupal frontender should of course be familiar with Drupal theming layer and best practices related to it. In addition to that, we appreciate understanding such concepts as accessibility, CSS architecture, atomic design, component libraries and UX design. Technology-wise Sass is an everyday tool, and you should be interested in the new CSS features. JavaScript and frameworks such as React or Vue.js are something you have experience on and want to go deeper into.

Finnish skills are a huge plus, but you do need to be fluent in English. You want to learn new technologies, keep up with constantly evolving best practices – or develop them yourself – and want to strive for delivering what the customer needs.

What do we offer?

When you work with us, you are never alone with your development ideas and/or questions. Our Drupalists are senior level experts, who learn from each other every day and usually work in teams of several developers. There are regular events and meetings for sharing our knowledge. You will have a great chance to impact what technical solutions we utilize and how we work.

In addition to the above, we really do put effort into continuously developing your expertise. Most of our Drupalists are Acquia certified through Siili, and we want to support you with acquiring similar certificates if you don’t already have them. We are also very committed to the Drupal community as a whole – for example, we are regulars at DrupalCon and local and nearby Drupal Camps.

We offer you the chance to work with interesting, challenging and ambitious customer projects, with the best colleagues and grow with other Siilis. Being a Siili means that you get to be the master of your own work – we trust you.

If you have any questions about the position or about Siili in general, please contact Anna Kerava (anna.kerava@siili.com) from Siili’s Talent team.
