Developer (Process Automation)

We are looking for Developers to join us in our Skaler business unit. In this role, you will be developing the next generation of Robotic Process Automation solutions with open source technologies, solving real business problems and helping our clients work more efficiently. This is a unique opportunity to join the open source RPA movement!

What you’ll do: 

• Work together with developers, strategists and the client to clarify ambiguous requirements, define the best course of action and together shape the end result 

• Be responsible for either automation/infrastructure development in a software development project, and work with your teammates to pick the right technologies and deliver continuously 
• Commit working code, perform code reviews for peers and help develop the team’s ways of working 
• Take your share of responsibility for the team and the project and have the vision and drive to do more than just “type in the code”.  

As a software developer, you have: 

• Experience of working with modern technologies in a software engineering or test automation role. Previous experience with Python, Robotic Process Automation, cloud technologies, Robot Framework, and CI tools such as Jenkins is appreciated but not required, as you will get the chance to learn and deepen your expertise in collaboration with our team of experts.  
• An ability to adopt new software engineering technologies and methods, and may have side projects built using different tech. 
• Great collaboration skills: You share what you learn, help others, learn from your peers, and ask for help when you need it. 
• Good communication skills both in Finnish and English.
