As an Android Automotive Developer, you will help develop state-of-the-art car infotainment and instrument cluster systems. Our ideal candidate should be able to handle various graphical, development, and technology tasks that pop up in our challenging projects every day.
You will:
- Create middleware for in-vehicle infotainment and instrument cluster that connects user-facing features and interactions to data provided by a car,
- Collaborate with engineers from multiple domains(UI/UX design, platform software, HMI, system design, test, and validation) to build a modern experience in a brand new car,
- Together with platform software engineers, analyze and optimize the system to be a highly responsive user experience.
- Diagnose, analyze, and resolve relevant issues based on testing, and user validation.
Technologies:
- 3+ years of C++ experience in modern standards (C++11/14/17)
- Experience in Java programming (Java 8)
- Experience with Android Framework APIs (including non-SDK interfaces)
- Good understanding of Android platform architecture (including familiarity with available HALs)
- Good understanding of Android programming environment using Binders, Shared memory, IPC mechanisms, etc.
- Experience with Software Development life cycle (from requirements analysis, specification, architectural design, through detailed design and implementation to verification, testing, and maintenance)
- Very good English language skills
- "Can do" attitude and open mindset
