We are looking for an experienced and driven Service Designers to join our team. Your background can be either from a design or a digital agency, or from the ‘client side’.
What we are mainly looking for, in a candidate, is a ‘design thinking mindset’ and proven skills to apply the mindsets and methods it entails, in service and product design context. We’re in the process of building a world-class agency that combines design and technology seamlessly. Therefore, a driven attitude is also what counts.
A perfect candidate
You have been designing services for some time already. You understand that as a Service Designer you need to balance both user, business, tech and operations viewpoints - we are in the business development business after all.
You look at things holistically, and aim to spot the underlying drivers, challenges and opportunities in a scenario. The number one word in your vocabulary, when starting a project, is ‘why?’. In addition to thinking big, you are also hands-on. You are able to visualize and prototype your conceptual ideas whether it’s about service or business concepts, operations, or customer experiences.
You are a team player and understand that best products and services are built in a multidisciplinary team, in an iterative and agile manner, with respect to others, an in close co-operation with the client.
You understand the possibilities and constraints of today’s technology, even though it’s not your core competence. You are not afraid to work with the client and drive your ideas forward, even in challenging situations. You support your ideas with real data (customer, business, market), not just with your gut feeling.
- Nice person to work with
- 5+ years of experience in service design (agency or client side)
- Proven record of successful service design cases
- Compatible education (e.g. in Design, Design Management, Business)
- Both creative and analytic mindset
- Experience in facilitating client workshops and supporting sales
- Fluent skills in English
