Antti has worked at Siili since 2010. He is employed as a Senior Software Developer working with Microsoft techniques. Antti has spent the past years working for the same client, on a project to develop and maintain a public online service.
“It has been fantastic to be part of Siili’s growth and development. Since 2010, the company has multipled its growth and, despite the rapid speed of that growth, continues to develop in a really positive way,” Antti says.
Antti particularly appreciates Siili’s way to value and trust its staff. The work atmosphere is positive and open and people are encouraged to continue developing themselves professionally. In Antti’s experience, the management also consider themselves very much part of the whole team, without any airs or graces. It is rare to find a company with more than 300 employees, where the CEO stops by to ask how you are doing and makes an active contribution in fostering a positive atmosphere.
As a father, Antti has particularly appreciated the way his job has allowed him to strike the ideal work-life balance. According to Antti, Siili’s take on parental leave is exemplary. “I personally decided to take a whole year off and when I raised the subject at work, I was immediately encouraged to do it if I had the chance. At Siili employees’ free time is respected and it is not recommended to work over normal hours.”
